# How to Lend?

For starters, make sure, that your URL is <https://texture.finance/lendy/borrow>.

If all good, proceed to the next steps:

1. Click on <mark style="color:blue;">`Borrow and Lend Tokens 🔥`</mark> tab
2. Next, click on <mark style="color:blue;">`Connect Wallet`</mark> button
3. And then click on <mark style="color:blue;">`Lend`</mark> button

### Lend tokens tutorial

Here is a quick overview of Texture's lend tokens interface and how you can use it to lend tokens:&#x20;

1. Loan duration: you give loans for 7 days long, at a fixed interest rate and can liquidate in case borrowers don't pay back in 7 days
2. Current price: on-chain market price of the token that borrowers lock as loan collateral
3. Current best offer: max price of the collateral token some lender is willing to accept
4. APY: interest rate you earn on the loan as a lender on annualised basis
5. All offers: all loan offers placed by lenders on Texture with respective loan-to-value ratio and amounts within each pair, helps you understand how competitive your loan will be
6. Token you lend selector: selector to pick the token you lend and the token borrower will lock as collateral
7. Loan offer price and LTV (Loan-to-Value):&#x20;
   * offer price is the amount of USDC or SOL you lend per one token that borrower locks as collateral
   * LTV is the ratio of offer price to market price, [read about LTV](https://texture.gitbook.io/texture/p2p-token-lending/..#how-do-i-lend-on-texture)
8. Wallet token balance: we detect the amount of tokens in your wallet that you want to lend
9. Token to lend: this is the token you lend to borrowers against the token they lock as collateral
10. Token lend amount and expected interest: amount of tokens you lend to borrowers and the interest they will pay you
11. <mark style="color:blue;">`Place offer`</mark> action button: click and LFG lend!
12. Collateral token amount: amount of collateral tokens you will claim if the borrower doesn't pay back the loan in 7 days
